Heads of Agencies network meets in Brussels under ECDC chairmanship
On 12-13 February, the Heads of EU Agencies meet in Brussels in their regular network meeting to discuss matters of common interest to all agencies.
The range of topics under discussion includes, among others, the upcoming institutional transition in the European Parliament and the Commission, the state of play of Brexit, the Multiannual Financial Framework 2021-2027 as well as steps towards future strategy of the EU Agencies’ Network (EUAN). The meeting is organised by ECDC as the current chair of EUAN, and chaired by ECDC Director Andrea Ammon.
The Heads of Agencies network provides a forum for coordination, information exchange and agreement of common positions on issues of mutual interest of among EU Agencies. As such, the network strengthens the voice of the EU Agencies and promotes good governance. ECDC will continue to chair the Agencies network until February 2020.
