Preparedness planning
Preparedness planning for a public health emergency ensures the availability of capacities and capabilities to detect, notify, respond to and recover from an emergency. The sharing of best practices and fostering exchange between stakeholders involved in public health emergency preparedness can support in the planning process and further avoid duplication of efforts. Access to planning tools can also support the planning process as well as in assessing the preparedness structure currently in place.
