The VPR offers timely information to accredited journalists including a Q&A section with answers to questions posed by journalists on the outbreak of Influenza A(H1N1), as well as links to the latest situation report and background information, all of which will be updated regularly.

Journalists interested in registering for the VPR should send an email to press@ecdc.europa.eu with the words “Virtual Press Room” in the subject line.

The email must contain the following information:

• Full name
• Name of publication/outlet/website/freelance etc. you work for 
• Country you are based in
• Full contact details including email and telephone

In a reply email, journalists will receive a login and password that will give them access to the VPR.
