Registration for the European Scientific Conference on Applied Infectious Disease Epidemiology (ESCAIDE) is now open. Participants can register via the dedicated page on the ESCAIDE website.
This year’s ESCAIDE conference is taking place in Edinburgh, UK, between 24–26 October. The 2012 programme includes planned keynote sessions on public health microbiology, vaccination, zoonoses and vulnerability in 21st century public health, amongst others.
All participants who register before 31 August will receive a 20% discount, making the fee 200 Euro (including VAT). From 1 September, regular on-line registration will cost 250 Euro (including VAT). The fees include access to all the sessions in the conference, conference materials, lunch and coffee breaks.
The ESCAIDE call for abstracts is currently open. Abstracts are welcome in all areas related to infectious disease prevention and control, including epidemiology, public health microbiology, surveillance, and the application of tools and methods to support infectious disease outbreaks or interventions. The closing date for submissions is Friday 13 July 2012.
