Role of doctors in childhood vaccination
02 May 2012

ECDC and the Standing Committee of European Doctors (CPME) are jointly organising a conference to discuss doctors’ roles in preventing childhood diseases, particularly measles, through vaccination.

Public health experts and patients’ groups will debate with CPME members on how to eliminate measles in Europe and improve communication with parents on the benefits, and risks, of childhood vaccination.

The event, titled “Prevention through Childhood Vaccination – defining Doctors’ Roles in the Stakeholder Debate” will be tweeted live (#EuropeDoctorsMeet). It will be held on 4 May in Brussels.
