The European Programme for Intervention Epidemiology Training (EPIET) call for fellows for 2012 is now open. The programme, coordinated and funded by ECDC, will recruit 12 applicants for a two-year training in communicable disease field epidemiology. The aim of the training is to enable the fellow to carry out activities related to the surveillance, investigation and control of communicable disease threats.
Applicants must be nationals of an EU Member State, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway or EU Accession countries and should have experience in public health or epidemiology. The fellowship programme will start 17 September 2012.
The European Programme for Intervention Epidemiology Training (EPIET) is a two-year fellowship programme, which provides training and practical experience in intervention epidemiology at the national and regional centres for surveillance and control of communicable diseases in the European Union (EU) and Norway.
