Immunisation Information Systems (IIS) and Immunisation registers are essential for management of immunisation programs and provide individuals and health care professionals with information for decision making. The first conference on IIS and Immunisation registers, co-sponsored by ECDC, will be held on 7-8 December 2010 in Stockholm, Sweden.
 
During this two-day conference, participants will learn about the status of IIS in Europe, discuss key issues in development of IIS and explore potential international collaboration. Participants are encouraged to submit abstracts. Deadline for submission is 15 November 2010.
 
ECIIS is jointly funded by the European Commission and the Swedish Institute for Infectious Disease Control.
