ECDC will, for the very first time, convene the Joint Strategy Meeting which is aimed at bringing together under one roof the following four bodies: the ECDC Advisory Forum (AF), the Coordinating Competent Bodies (CCBs), the National Microbiology Focal Points (NMFPs) and the National Surveillance Focal Points (NSFPs).

The Joint Strategy Meeting will provide a unique opportunity for representatives of various bodies to optimise their valuable time and to interact with one another by discussing broad, cross-cutting topics of mutual relevance. It is envisaged that participants will benefit from an engaging, supportive space in which to debate freely a number of timely developments in public health, including in furthering sustainable collaboration with ECDC.

The meeting will take place at the Hotel Scandic Infra City in Upplands Väsby, just outside Stockholm, and will convene on Tuesday, 25 September 2012 at 9:00 and is expected to adjourn by lunchtime on Thursday, 27 September 2012.
