On May 7-11, in Riga, the annual general meeting of two ECDC-funded networks will take place: VBORNET (the European Network for Arthropod Vector Surveillance for Human Public Health funded by the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control) and ENIVD-CLNR (the European Network of laboratories for outbreak assistance and support).

Highlights during the meeting will be: respective activity reports per work Package (presented in closed sessions) , a public conference on vector-borne diseases, diagnosis of emerging viral diseases and public health, collaborative activities between VBORNET and ENIVD.
