| ECDC Competent Bodies for Training are institutions or scientific bodies providing independent scientific and technical advice or capacity for action in the field of training in the prevention and control of human disease. They have been designated by the Member States governments and their list has been compiled by the ECDC Management Board in December 2007. |
EPIET Alumni NetworkThe EPIET Alumni Network (EAN) was created to help develop and maintain a network of European public health epidemiologists that have participated in the European Programme for Intervention Epidemiology Training (EPIET) or other European Field Epidemiology Training Programmes (FETP). This network is one of the key partners to provide resources for ECDC training activities. EPIET Training Site Forum (ETSF)The EPIET Training Site Forum (ETSF) includes all representatives of EPIET training sites plus the EPIET Alumni Network (EAN). ETSF members are nominated by the different participating institutions. The aim of ETSF is to advise ECDC on technical and organisational issues related to the EPIET. EPIET Alumni Network (EAN)The EPIET Alumni Network (EAN) was created to help develop and maintain a network of European public health epidemiologists that have participated in the European Programme for Intervention Epidemiology Training (EPIET) or other European Field Epidemiology Training Programmes (FETP). |
