UK JCVI recommends herpes zoster vaccine for elderly

The UK Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI) recommends the use of herpes zoster (shingles) vaccine in adults between 70 and 79 years provided that a licensed vaccine is available at a cost effective price. The full statement will be issued soon.
