Questions and Answers
Question 1 What date is the work expected to start? Answer Mid/end July.
Question 2 Are the lots evaluated independently, i.e. if an applicant is found to have the best score for only one of the lots (but has applied for 2 or 3 lots), will this applicant get this one lot even if another applicant on average scores higher in all 3 lots? Answer Each lot is evaluated independently applying the evaluation criteria to each lot separately, without considering the value for money of the other lots.
Question 3 It is mentioned several times in the call for tenders that a senior curator must perform at least curator task 2 (expert advice). Would you please clarify if that means that a senior curator must perform the whole of task 2 or only expert advice? Answer Description of task 2: Performing cluster searches on a regular basis and providing expert advice to ECDC e.g. on cluster management and interpretation, and outbreak response in general. Providing feedback to ECDC regarding improvements, or potential/actual issues with TESSy. - The senior curator must provide the expert advice him/herself and make sure that cluster searches are performed accurately. He/she does not have to perform the cluster searches him/herself. - The senior curator must make sure that feedback to ECDC regarding improvements or potential/actual issues with TESSy is collected from all curators including him/herself and provide it to ECDC.
