Question 1
In the tender specification is required:
- balance sheets or extracts from balance sheets for at least the last two years for which accounts have been closed (where publication of the balance sheet is required under the company law of the country in which the economic operator is established);
- a statement of overall turnover and turnover concerning services/supplies covered by the contract during the last three financial years.
As individual I am unable to provide some of the required evidence. Would the tax declaration of the last year and the bank statements of the last two years be sufficient for the tender?
Answer
The tax declaration of the last year and the bank statement related to your activity for the last two years should be sufficient. You would need to clarify in the tender the reasons why the other documentation is unavailable to you.

Question 2
In which cases is ECDC able to reimburse the VAT?
Answer
ECDC is VAT exempt and invoices to ECDC need to be without VAT. The awarded tenderer needs to provide the information about ECDC VAT exemption to the relevant national tax authority for ensuring that this VAT exemption is recognised properly and the VAT calculations are correct.

Deadline for submission of tenders: 27 Aug 2012 at 16:00 CET
